  • Choice of indoor units: high wall, concealed & in-ceiling cassettes
  • Good for narrow ceiling space, concealed indoor units need bulkheads
  • Good option for 2 or 3 rooms

Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF):

  • Multiple indoor units with one outdoor unit
  • Efficient, low heating/cooling loss from refrigerant pipes
  • Optimises refrigerant flow in short or long pipe runs
  • Choice of indoor units: high wall, concealed & in-ceiling cassettes
  • Good for narrow ceiling space, concealed indoor units need bulkheads
  • Good option for more than 3 rooms

Energy Recovery Systems

  • Option to consider of you have a pool or spa
  • Requires 3 phase power for the outdoor unit
  • Requires a Hydro kit
  • Very efficient in summer using waste heat from a/c for pool heating

Ducted systems:

  • Cost-effective way to serve many rooms
  • Ducting runs in ceiling, bulkheads or underfloor 
  • Not as efficient as the options above, heating/cooling loss through ducting
  • Electronic duct dampers needed for room zoning
  • Requires ceiling space of at least 300mm
